Little World Discovery Centre Abu Dhabi
The hotel where we stayed (you can read about it here) is connected to the Nation Galleria Mall, where we found a wonderful children's center. There are two game halls in the gallery, they are not interconnected: one is more suitable for kids, as it is a kind of sports hall or an indoor playground; Scheduled entry with staff who shows a group of kids exercises and plays with them. This option didn’t suit us, because we don’t like the “limits” and time limits, in addition, they offer to buy a subscription for several lessons at once, and usually parents take their kids to them regularly.
We went to the second center, in which there are many different zones: a water station, an art workshop, a recording studio, a game labyrinth, games with light, games with air flows, sand, designers, a treehouse with a theater and a mini-city with a hospital, candy store, shop.
In each zone, welcoming Filipino girls enthusiastically play with children, they are so sincerely happy for the children that this cannot but be captivating. Children in such a center can be left for an hour or more (they certainly will not be bored). I spent about three hours with the kids, and everyone (I’m no less than the children) really liked it. The territory is not large, do not forget that this is only a space in the mall, and not a full-fledged children's play center, but each zone is thought out and captivates children. In Italy, similar entertainment centers can be counted on the fingers, usually these isolated buildings, which are called museums, are also interesting there, but no one plays with children, and it’s unlikely that they will be able to meet something similar in the shopping center. My little dream is that there should be more such zones, as well as pleasant cafes and bars equipped for the comfort of children and adults.
P. S. Before leaving home from Abu Dhabi, we had time and walked to the Marina Mall, which has a large space with playgrounds and automatic machines. There were too noisy and too many people, the atmosphere was not the most pleasant, we did not use their services.
