Vegas with Kids. JW Marriott Las Vegas Resort & Spa
When almost all our friends, learning about our trip to Vegas, said that this is not the most suitable city for traveling with children, we listened ... but we did not change our decision to go. The city turned out to be not just a lot, but infinitely a lot of entertainment for children and families. But this publication is about the hotel we stayed at.
Hotel JW Marriott Las Vegas Resort & Spa, we did not choose. It was here that a conference was held in which Dario participated. In order not to disrupt plans and not add complexity, I often agree with Dario’s plan, I try not to annoy him and give him the opportunity to work. And in the second part of the trip we rest all together. The second part implied Miami, Orlando and Disneyland, so in Vegas I promised that we would not be seen or heard.
Actually, Dario really did not see us and did not hear us. The children enjoyed the company of children, who were lucky enough to be our neighbors by the pool, where we disappeared in the early morning. And in the evening we returned so late after shows and performances in the city that the head of the family was already asleep.
The hotel was amazing. What you need for families in Vegas. A large green area with a pond, cascades, beautiful fish, which the children gave names and greeted every morning. Service, cleanliness, comfortable rooms. I appreciated the spa and gym. My morning invariably began with exercises, continued in saunas and hot tubs with a book, and then I returned to my room, ready for an adventurous day.
The hotel complex consists of several buildings, which are interconnected by galleries and game rooms. Several chain restaurants - classic hotel restaurants - establishments for every taste. My children and I went to breakfast several times in a typical American cafe, where coffee is poured nonstop into huge mugs, and a serving per person can successfully become a serving for four.
When we got tired of this pampering and cups of maple syrup, we started going to the hotel for breakfast, where the children found a new love - love for warm and crisp bagels. They and the service itself were extremely enjoyable. We made friends with a waitress who showed a keen interest in our life in Italy.
It should be noted that the staff everywhere was very friendly. In a cafe in the city, they told us how to buy tickets for the show, took them to charge the phone, explained how it is more profitable to make an order for a family and more.
Despite the fact that the hotel is located in a suburb of Las Vegas, this did not cause us any inconvenience. A shuttle runs regularly to the city. Sometimes we used the services of a taxi and Uber when there was a desire to return home, without waiting for the shuttle from the hotel.
Remoteness from the city and chaos, in this case, is a big plus. We lived in a beautiful oasis of tranquility among palm trees and, at our request, enjoyed the busy life of the city.
